Water Proofing Membranes

Water-proof membranes adapted for use in balconies, mezzanine ceilings, concrete flat-roof’s and car park top decks. The high elasticity of our membranes and low temperature flexibility ensures a lasting durability. Roll applied, our membranes have excellent crack bridging properties.

Trazcon® MMA Water-proof Membranes are methyl methacrylate based and are generally 2mm thick and comprise of a 1mm Trazcon® C10V resin layer and a second 1mm Trazcon® C68V resin layer.

Properties Elastomeric, excellent crack bridging properties, low-temperature flexibility, high impact resistance.
Areas of Application Balcony water-proofing, concrete flat roof water-proofing and car park ‘top-deck’ water-proofing.
Additional Areas of Application Outdoor areas subject to thermal stress, cold stores and indoor areas subject to high impact.

Damp Proofing Membranes

These low viscosity, water-resistant, concrete damp proof membranes can be installed on green concrete. The membranes feature excellent substrate penetration. Typically used for priming concrete slabs that do not have a damp-proof membrane installed, they can also be used to cure floor screeds and green concrete.

Properties Excellent substrate penetration, non-film forming, permanent sealant (withstands water pressure), short curing time.
Areas of Application Curing of floor screed and green concrete, reduction of plastic shrinkage cracks as a result of early drying-out and for priming concrete slabs that do not have a damp-proof membrane installed.

Concrete Repair Mortars

Trazcon® M47 repair mortar is a solvent-free 2-component methacrylic resin mortar with a high compressive strength and tensile strength in bending. It is characterised by very low linear shrinkage. Because of its high strength, the mortar is suitable as a wear-resistant concrete coating for coating thickness of 6 – 20mm. The low shrinkage rate enables even larger unevenness to be levelled out. The mortar surface resembles that of a fine exposed concrete and can be topped with suitable Trazcon® coatings to ensure a decorative surface look. The hardening time is about 1 hour at +20°C, and hardening takes place in temperatures ranging from -10°C to +35°C (approx. 1 – 3 hours).

Applications Areas of use are floors for traffic areas in industrial concerns which are subject to heavy mechanical stress or as a localised repair mortar for indoors and outdoors. Greater coat thicknesses can be achieved by adding further coarse aggregates (e.g. for ramps, rail bedding, filler and screed mortars, casting bridge bearings). Suitable coarse aggregates include non-absorbent mineral particles (e. g. quartz gravel).

Cleaners

CL28 is a food grade biodegradable floor cleaner & degreaser which prevents bacteria build up by breaking down oil, fat and grease. FloorTech® recommend using CL28 as part of your regular maintenance regime to help protect your new Trazcon® floor. This powerful degreaser increases cleaning efficiency by removing contaminants to ensure your slip value is correctly maintained.
